INDONESIA Fashion Week 2023 is just around the corner. This fashion week, which highlights the beauty of Indonesian culture, officially starts tomorrow, Wednesday 22nd February 2023.

Gorontalo’s signature Karawo Sulam will be the main highlight of Indonesian Fashion Week 2023. Nevertheless, the IFW 2023, as the largest market participant for modest wear in the world, will also be presented with a fashion show for modest collections.

In particular, several local brands will present special edition collections of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr at IFW 2023, one of which will appear on the catwalk, the DS brand.

“The appearance at Indonesia Fashion Week 2023 is part of our plan to expand the expansion of our flagship store in Jakarta. Apart from that, this is a good opportunity to introduce the DS collection to the people of the capital,” said Annisa Herdyana, DS owner, in the MNC portal, Tuesday (2/21/2023).

Anin, as he is affectionately known, explained that DS did exist in the special region of Yogyakarta, Central Java and East Java. DS products were distributed in 22 retail stores in 3 provinces. “So by attending IFW 2023, one hopes to win the market in Jakarta,” he added optimistically.

What will DS show at IFW 2023?

Anin explained that DS will feature 8 collections of Idul Fitri editions themed ‘Effortless Glam’. The collection is dominated by pastels, the color palette of 2023. “A black and white collection is also on the runway,” said Anin.

The outfits presented on the IFW 2023 catwalk range from formal, semi-formal to dresses. The materials used in this collection range from lace, pearls to Swarovski details.

“To make the glamor impression more visible, we also present a collection that uses 3D lace,” explains Anin.
